Many oil companies have come and gone in the 44 years since Kent and Dorothy Pegram risked everything, going in debt to start their own business. Pegram Oil Company not only has survived but has grown from a home based company serving a few hundred customers in 1957 to several thousand in 2001. We have grown partly because we have done everything possible to live and operate by the Golden Rule. We treat our friends, customers and employees as we ourselves want to be treated. And we have maintained a sharp focus on the keeping our customer service on a one-to-one basis. As a customer, if you ever have a question or concern, you will always get a fast, effective response from a Pegram family member. Satisfied customers have always been the basis of our business...and always will be. We continue to grow, thanks to the referrals of satisfied customers.

It’s impossible to completely please everyone "all" the time, but when we fail it really bothers us. And while we are in business and must make money, our bottom line is not the most important motivation which drives our business.  The way we have treated our customers as we carry on our business and our reputation mean more to us than anything.  We strive to give the most value in the business bar none.  It's possible, because of price fluctuation,  that we may not always be the cheapest but we can always be the "best".  We feel honesty, understanding and a guarantee of satisfaction is more important than saving a few dollars on your fuel bill.
